Converted loft

Originally a “Bath” house in downtown Batavia from the 1800’s, that was turned into an office building; recently renovated by Batavia Enterprises for apartments for downtown living.

Comments: This is a one room loft with a very urban feel to it. This is a great example
of a successful conversion of office space into living space. Fantastic view of downtown Batavia and river from the generous windows in the dwelling. Owner’s have an eclectic mixture of furnishings; very 1940’s with a modern twist. Original artwork by one of the owners. The one room space is divided into “areas” by placement of furniture. This space is also where the couple have their in-home office. This highlights a great way to live in downtown Batavia and be in the hub of things.

Note: This building has 6 units. Four of them are rented. There is one that is empty and apparently has a fabulous kitchen. Perhaps Batavia Enterprises would be willing to showcase it during the Walk if it is not rented?
